Capital Community Media (CC:Media) is looking for someone to join our team as a studio production intern.

CC:Media has two full-time HD video recording studios available for use to members of the community. We are looking for someone to assist our staff and community with the many programs recorded in our studios.

We are looking for someone who is community-minded, has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, demonstrates flexibility with busy and changing schedules, is eager to learn new technical skills, and is comfortable interacting with members our diverse community. 

Interns will have the opportunity to:

  • Operate studio equipment including, cameras, lighting, audio, and recording system

  • Assist local producers with their programs, from start to finish

  • Provide support for staff productions

  • Get training and become proficient in video editing

Video production and/or editing experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We will train you!

Applicants should be available for some evenings and weekends when CC:Media’s facility is open. We are looking for a minimum time commitment 10 hours/week, over a period of at least three months. This is a great opportunity for students seeking tangible work experience.
