CCTV’s Summer Video Camp is an opportunity for students entering grades 5-9 to express themselves creatively through video production. Students learn all aspects of creating television programs- all the way from storyboarding an idea to editing the finished video.
Week two of camp will focus on traditional animation techniques. Students will learn about cel, and various types of stop motion animation. Each student will have an opportunity to produce their own animated short film. (Note: This camp does NOT cover computer generated animation or CGI techniques). Students can choose to attend this week for $99, or they can progress through the entire 3-week camp for $225. More information can be found here, along registration/scholarship forms. Registration must be made in person at CCTV, 575 Trade Street SE. We’re open Tuesday through Friday, 11am-9pm, and Saturday 11am-7pm. Questions? Call (503) 588-2288, ext. 0!
