Capital Community Television has the pleasure of displaying a painting exhibit from Solen Lewis now through April 30th, 2016. Nine-year-old Solen Lewis will be donating 100% of the proceeds from his art sales to HART (Horses Adaptive Riding & Therapy) in Independence, Oregon. The non-profit is an adaptive riding equine therapy program for people that experience any form of disability.
Solen was recently featured in the Statesman Journal for his successful show at Urban Grange Coffee in January 2016, raising over $600 for the Salem Dream Center. Solen’s abstract paintings utilize a diverse range of colors and textures, including zig-zag lines, swirls, dots, and asymmetric shapes and patterns.
CCTV will be hosting an opening reception on Wednesday, April 6th from 5:30-7:30 pm featuring Solen’s paintings. We invite the public to join us for light refreshments and a time of socializing with Solen and his friends and family, while viewing the paintings. There are about 25 pieces for sale, varying in price from $5-$50.
