Founded by Ross Swartzendruber, the 11th annual Cherry City Music Festival kicks off on Thursday June 15th, 2017. The festival was founded in 2007 as part of Mid-Valley Video Festival’s Mix-n-Mash. The goal is to bring independent local bands and their fans together for great musical performances and networking opportunities throughout Salem.
CC:Media is honored to serve as one of many venues for this event again this year. We will feature a variety of bands in both studios throughout the festival and will telecast the performances live on Comcast channel 22 and on our website. We welcome and encourage a live audience, interaction on social media, and participation through volunteering. There’s no cost to attend the shows at CCTV, and they’re all family-friendly.
