Be a Community Volunteer
One of the best ways to gain experience is to help another producer with their program. In addition to the opportunity to practice your skills, you will also gain an ally for your own production and, just maybe, get a meal out of it.
There are three staff people to talk to about volunteering:
|

|
Heide Ramos manages our Producer Volunteer List; she'll add your email address and send you notices when producers need help.
Ken Hook is our senior staff producer and handles volunteers for all CCTV truck productions, including sports, music, high school graduations, and more.
And then there's me, Greg Hiltz ... if you want to help out with TRONGuide TV, let me know.
All three of us can be contacted at 503-588-2288.

You can also talk to the other students in the classes you take and let them know that you're willing to help! Be sure to exchange contact info so you can stay in touch.
