Read the details below, then call us at 503-588-2288 with any questions!

Step 1: Attend an Orientation at CCTV
Orientation takes place the first Tuesday of every month at 6 PM here at CCTV, and is required for anybody planning to take classes. We'll tell you about:
- Our history and how we are funded
- How to use CCTV resources to make your programs
- CCTV's rules, procedures, and eligibility requirements
You'll also have a chance to tour our facility and meet some of the staff. We will answer your questions and make sure you have what you need to get started!

Step 2: Select the class or classes you want to take
Read the Workshops and Equipment section here on TRONGuide. This will give you an overview of the classes you learned about in Orientation. Take a look at the current Class Schedule to find out when the class you want is taking place.

Step 3: Provide photo ID and proof of residency
When you come in to sign up for your first class you must provide proof that you meet our eligibility requirements: CCTV producers must reside within the city limits of Salem or unincorporated Marion County within the Comcast Cable footprint. These guidelines can be confusing, so please ask if you have questions about your eligibility. Sorry, Keizer residents are not eligible.
Bring your photo ID and a piece of mail addressed to you at your residence. This can be a utility bill, phone bill, etc. These items will be photocopied and securely kept on file at CCTV.
Many people bring these items to Orientation. If you have any questions about residency requirements, just ask us!

Step 4: Check class availability with CCTV staff
Classes have a maximum number of openings, so check with us to see if the class you want to take is available!

Step 5: Pay for your classes and receive confirmation
All fees must be paid before your place in the class is reserved. We cannot hold spots without payment!
- The cost for each camcorder class is $15
- The cost for Intro to Editing, Studio Production, or Multi-Cam is $30.
When you sign up for the first workshop there is an additional $35 Annual Activity Fee. All producers are required to pay the Annual Activity Fee. The Annual Activity Fee allows you to reserve equipment and facilities at no charge throughout the year.
The quickest way to confirm your class registration is to sign up in person at CCTV. We can accept cash or check. At the end of signup we will provide you with a printed reminder with information about your class.
If you need to pay using a credit card, or would prefer to pay online, you may do so using the CCTV Store, but you MUST complete Step 4 FIRST! Call CCTV's staff to confirm class availability, then immediately make your payment online. Call CCTV to confirm that payment was received and that your signup has been completed. The process could take a couple days.
If a class is filling up fast you should sign up in person if at all possible!
