It isn’t everyday that citizens are able to talk directly to their U.S. senators. So, it was a meaningful opportunity on Monday, June 29, for Salem residents. Senator Jeff Merkley held a town hall at Chemeketa Community College where President Roberts of Chemeketa introduced him. Senator Merkley listened and responded to questions that varied widely from health care to Iran.
