The Summer Video Camp season is in full swing! Twelve students and three camp leaders spent five days last week learning how to plan projects and shooting as many of them as possible.

Several students had signed up with friends, so groups were naturally formed almost before I walked into the studio on day one. While this likely contributed to the noise factor, it also meant that many groups were ready to start putting their ideas on paper and making videos!

Each group produced and contributed to several projects. The all worked on the standard "Shot List" project and a few studio mini-shows in day one, and spent the rest of the camp making even more. In total, students recorded shots for ten different projects!

A lot of parents seemed very happy to have brought their kids. So did the students, all of whom asked about getting DVDs of their work.
