Community Billboard Form
 
The CCTV Community Billboard is available for public service announcements (PSA's). Eligible organizations and individuals may submit PSA's to promote local events and services. PSA's must be for non-profit purposes. Staff may edit announcements to fit limited space on the screen.
 
Eligibility
 
The Community Billboard is available without charge to any Comcast service area resident, in Salem and unincorporated Marion County, on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
Procedures
 
  • Billboard forms may be sent electronically: printed and mailed or delivered to CCTV, PO Box 2342, Salem OR 97308.
  • Billboard announcements must be received by Thursday at 5pm for play the following week.
  • The person submitting an announcement must provide CCTV with their name, home address, (PO Box numbers are not acceptable,) phone number and the name of the organization.
 
Content Requirements
 
  • The announcement text should include: who/what, when, and where. A "contact" phone number must be included.
  • Announcement may not include any advertising or material that promotes any commercial product or service.
  • Announcements may not contain solicitation, appeal for funds or event prices; but may state, "For ticket information, call _________(name/phone number)"
  • Announcements may not use the CCTV phone number and may not use the words, "CCTV" or "Capital Community Television."
In submitting this form, I accept full responsibility for the content, and further warrant that I have the authority to submit this information for inclusion on the CCTV Community Billboard.
